This weekend we will hike in the stunning oak forest of Zubia, the hike starts in the Roman ruins “Qabla” and follows a beautiful Wadi shaded with high Oak and Maple trees, the trail then leaves Zubia forest and descend down to Beit Idis village, where we will meet the bus and transfer to a local family guesthouse to have lunch before departing back to Amman
What To Bring?
ID and/or passport
Water (3 liters per person for day 1- we will provide water on day 2)
Around 25 L backpack to carry the belongings you need for the day
Trail snacks, such as chocolate, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc.
Personal mug (important!) Let’s try to reduce waste!
Comfortable hiking/walking clothes
Hiking shoes/boots
Flip flops/sandals to wear after the hike (optional)
Sunglasses
Buff/cap/head cover/bandana
Hiking pole(s) (optional)
Your favorite coffee or tea for the morning
Sun protection - SPF 30 or more
Fleece or any equivalent material
Raincoat or Gore-tex jacket (subject to weather forecast)
