TREKS was established in 2004 as a community-based initiative with the aim of spreading the love of the outdoors among Jordanians, by organizing hikes across the country. The idea to launch this initiative came when the TREKS team started receiving requests for organizing private hikes for locals and tourists alike. This sparked the idea of establishing TREKS inbound tourism company in 2012.
Our vision is to help showcase what Jordan has to offer and contribute to putting the country on the map as a destination for adventure-based activities and experiential tourism in the Middle East.
Everyone on our team is passionate about the outdoors and is fueled by the love for adventure. Therefore, we strive to show our guests Jordan’s hidden jewels and deliver culturally-rich and transformational experiences to our travelers.
Our wide range of products include private and group hikes around the country, private classic tours that will transport travelers back in time, as well as adventurous family trips. We also specialize in organizing more challenging experiences such as canyoning and mountaineering, in addition to our international expeditions to famous hiking spots around the world. Moreover, our annual “Full Moon Desert Marathon” in Wadi Rum desert is one of the most prominent marathons in the region.
