The hike begins in the village of Rakin, where small shops and cafés mark the last stop before the trail descends into Wadi Tawaheen. Passing farmland and the ruins of Barada, the route drops into the historic village of Baddan, known for its Ottoman-era pathways, before continuing to Baddan’s spring and waterfall. The trail follows Wadi Al Karak upstream to the village of Mumia Falls, passing local farms, springs, and old Ottoman water mills, before ascending to rejoin the Jordan Trail.
