Beautiful, colorful, and peaceful, this hike is one of those experiences that stays with you long after it’s over. We begin in the Karak area, west of Mou’ta, with a 3 km descent through an olive grove toward the entrance of the wadi. Once we reach the valley floor, we continue hiking for around 10 km along the wadi, passing impressive sandstone formations, narrow passages, and occasional water springs along the way. The highlight of the hike comes as we enter a stunning 3 km shaded Siq, where the canyon walls rise dramatically around us. The scenery here is truly breathtaking. After the Siq, we climb a ladder to pass a large boulder before continuing for another 1.5 km toward the end of the canyon.
