Beautiful, colorful, and peaceful, this hike is one of those experiences that stays with you long after it’s over. We begin in the Karak area, west of Mou’ta, with a 3 km descent toward the entrance of the wadi through an olive grove. Once we reach the valley floor, we continue hiking for around 10 km along the wadi, passing impressive sandstone formations, narrow passages, and occasional water springs along the way.
The highlight of the hike comes as we enter a stunning 3 km shaded Siq, where the canyon walls rise dramatically around us. The scenery here is truly breathtaking. After the Siq, we climb a ladder to get past a large boulder before continuing another 1.5 km toward the end of the canyon.
At the very end, there’s a natural pool that we’ll need to swim across to reach the other side, a fun and refreshing finish to the adventure.
After the hike, we’ll head to a local organic farm where a late homemade lunch will be waiting for us
