Start by trekking south of Dana reserve, the trail passes through the oak and juniper forest, then gently start ascending a valley to reach a panoramic plateau from which you will have a view over Wadi Araba, Wadi Dathneh, and the mountains of Palestine to the west, then leave the viewpoint and descends along an old donkey path to reach Wadi Hamra, continue along the eastern rim of wadi Hamra until you reach the trailhead of wadi Ghuweir
