We’ll head to the northernmost region of Jordan to explore its fresh, green trails. Our hike begins in the village of Umm Qais and follows a lesser-known path toward Arab Dam. Along the way, we’ll enjoy breathtaking, bird’s-eye views of Lake Tiberias and the ancient ruins of Umm Qais, dating back to the 3rd century B.C. The trail winds along the mountainside, overlooking the Golan Heights and the Yarmouk River, with spectacular vistas of Palestine and Syria on the horizon. We’ll end our journey back in Umm Qais Village with a late lunch prepared by local women.
