We will start the day’s hike from Ma’tan’s ancient village passing between boulders that descends via an old donkey trail down the steep hillside with terraced orchards and olive groves. Arrive at narrow siqs at the bottom of the wadi. From there we will start our ascend towards Buseirah village. We will follow a footpath along the side of the wadi to reach Khirbet Um Za’aroura, and finally gaining incredible views of the Wadi Dana, while surrounded by pine forests. This is the highest point on the Jordan Trail, at 1,600 meters. At the end of the hike we will have a local lunch overlooking Dana reserve before heading back to Amman
