Wadi Bin Hammad

Wadi Bin Hammad is situated between Madaba and Karak. It is one of the most famous Wadis in Jordan, It’s a large breathtaking valley with lush vegetation, hanging gardens and palm trees, and water running through the siq. The area is popular with locals because of the hot springs and picnic opportunities. After about 1.5 km there is a boulder that we need to cross by climbing a ladder to Transfer to the other deeper side of the Wadi where you can see the change of the stone's formation and colors, on the other side it is a totally kids and family-friendly hike. We will stop midway for a tea break and lunch.

we want to make sure you have a great time, so please bring most, if not all, the items on this list: 

• Personal ID 
• Water (preferably 3 – 4 liters per person)
• Around 25 L backpack to carry your water, snacks, and any other belongings you may need. 
• Personal travel mug for the tea break (help us reduce waste)! 
• Trail snacks, such as chocolate, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc. 
• Comfortable hiking/walking clothes
• Hiking boots/ shoes 
• Sunglasses
• Buff/cap/head cover/bandana
• Hiking pole(s)- optional  
• Sunglasses (Optional)
• Hiking Poles (Optional) 
• Flip-flop or clean shoes to wear after the hike (Optional) 
• Any personal medication 

We have the TREKS store that sells and rents out hiking/camping equipment. So if you need equipment please let us know, and we'll be more than happy to help!
