Regional Description
This weekend we will hike a trail connecting Um Qais, Yarmouk Reserve to Berket Al Arayes, through Wadi Malka. The hike begins from Wadi Malka and then winds along a mountain ridge offering views of the Golan Heights and Yarmuk River, with Palestine and Syria right across the border. We will spend most of our time in the wadi surrounded by the refreshing nature, and the winter green of the northern Jordan Valley. We will stop midway for our lunch and tea.
What To Bring?
Personal ID
Water (preferably 3 liters per person)
Around 25 L backpack to carry your water, snacks, and any other belongings you may need.
Personal travel mug for the tea break (help us reduce waste)!
Trail snacks, such as chocolate, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc.
Comfortable hiking/walking clothes
Hiking boots/ shoes
Sunglasses
Buff/cap/head cover/bandana
Hiking pole(s)- Optional
Headlight (in case)
Sun protection - SPF 30 or more
Any personal/common medication (i.e. migraines, joints, allergies, insulin, etc..)
Fleece sweater/ down jacket

If the trip is canceled 30 - 11 days before departure, 20% of the payment is non-refundable.
If the trip is canceled 10 days or less before departure, 50% of the payment is non-refundable.
